NVC Introduction
Service Description
Are you facing conflicts with your partner, colleagues, or children? These challenges are a normal part of life, and developing conflict competence is essential for personal growth and resilience. How we communicate affects our health, relationships, and overall quality of life. By understanding the impact of our language, we can enhance our interactions and foster successful relationships in professional, personal, and parenting contexts. What is Nonviolent Communication (NVC)? NVC focuses on how language can improve interpersonal relationships, emphasizing empathy and compassionate connections. Often, our everyday language can hinder cooperation through judgment and accusations. NVC promotes a mindset that avoids harm and encourages understanding, helping individuals tackle conflicts constructively while respecting their own needs. Introductory Seminar This seminar is designed for beginners to gain insight into NVC, based on Marshall Rosenberg’s principles. Participants will learn to communicate consciously and responsibly, fostering openness and trust in difficult dialogues. The seminar combines theory and practice in a relaxed setting, addressing individual questions. Contents Include: Basic assumptions and attitudes of NVC Communication barriers The four elements of NVC: observation, feeling, need, request Sincere self-communication and empathy Differentiating between appreciation and praise Prerequisites: No prior knowledge is required, just an interest in NVC and a willingness to explore new approaches.
